Set-Top Box Configuration
The Set-Top Box configuration is targeted to provide functionality for devices that are connected to a TV for display of Internet and media content. The configuration includes the Windows CE Standard Shell with a browser-based TV user interface (UI). The TV navigation features are turned on by default in the browser. This configuration can include the standard Windows CE–based applications. The configuration includes support for authentication and cryptography services, which provide e-commerce and pay-per-view capabilities.
