INTERNET_ASYNC_RESULT (Windows CE 5.0)

This structure contains the result of a call to an asynchronous function. This structure is used with the INTERNET_STATUS_CALLBACK structure.

Members

  • dwResult
    Unsigned long integer value that references an HINTERNET handle, unsigned long integer, or Boolean return code from an asynchronous function.
  • dwError
    Unsigned long integer value that contains the error message if the dwResult member indicates that the function failed. If the operation succeeded, this member usually contains ERROR_SUCCESS.

Remarks

The value of the dwResult member is determined by the value of the dwInternetStatus parameter of the status callback function. The following table shows the values of dwInternetStatus.

Value Description
INTERNET_STATUS_HANDLE_CREATED Address of the HINTERNET handle.
INTERNET_STATUS_REQUEST_COMPLETE Address of the HINTERNET handle.
