The following table shows the Remote Desktop Microsoft® ActiveX® Control interfaces.

Programming element Description
IMsRdpClient The IMsRdpClient dual interface is the default interface to the Remote Desktop ActiveX control. The interface provides the methods and properties needed to configure and use the client control.
IMsRdpClientAdvancedSettings This interface includes methods to retrieve and set advanced (optional) properties for the Remote Desktop ActiveX control.
IMsRdpClientNonScriptable This interface provides a method to send notifications about device changes and a method to send a series of keystrokes to the Remote Desktop ActiveX control.
IMsRdpClientSecuredSettings The IMsRdpClientSecuredSettings dual interface includes methods to retrieve and set properties of the Remote Desktop ActiveX control that are restricted to specific Internet Explorer security zones.
IMsTscAdvancedSettings The IMsTscAdvancedSettings dual interface includes methods to retrieve and set properties that enable bitmap caching, compression, and printer and clipboard redirection.
IMsTscAx The IMsTscAx dual interface lets you connect and disconnect the client control, create virtual channel objects, and transmit data over a virtual channel.
IMsTscAxEvents This interface includes methods that receive information from the server that are related to client control events. Events include connecting and disconnecting, full screen mode requests, successful logon, and error conditions.
IMsTscNonScriptable This interface includes properties and methods that relate to application of a password to the Remote Desktop ActiveX control.
IMsTscSecuredSettings This interface includes methods to retrieve and set properties of the Remote Desktop ActiveX control that are restricted to specific Internet Explorer security zones.
