If you include the TAPI (Telephony Application Programming Interface) component in your configuration, the user can make data or voice calls. For available components, find the TAPI capability.

The following applications use TAPI:

• Windows NT .tdx files
• HyperTerminal
• Dial-up Networking
• Phone Dialer
• Other Win32 communications applications written for Windows NT.

There are no properties to set for the TAPI component.

Important   If you add a TAPI component, you must also add a Telephony Service Provider (TSP) component. Find available TSP components under the Telephony Service Providers capability.
