The server appliance hardware requirements include the following hardware:

• Advanced Configuration and Power Interface (ACPI)-compliant power button
• Server appliance icons on your hardware

The following additional hardware is recommended to improve the user experience:

• Local display
• Keypad
• Nonvolatile RAM (NVRAM)
• Watchdog timer
