Media Center Customization Options for OEMs

Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) who make Media Center Edition computers can customize Media Center in a number of different ways. This section describes the ways in which OEMs can customize Media Center, and provides step-by-step instructions for implementing the various customizations.

Note Although there is nothing to prevent application developers from using the customization options described in this section, they should do so with extreme caution. Incorrect implementation can remove access to, or cause conflicts with, pre-installed OEM software.
