The Enabled property gets or sets a Boolean value that indicates whether the application filter is enabled.

Parameters

pfEnabled
Pointer to a Boolean variable that is set on return to VARIANT_TRUE if the application filter is enabled, or to VARIANT_FALSE if the application filter is disabled.
fEnabled
Boolean value that indicates whether the application filter is enabled.

Return Values

These property methods return S_OK if the call is successful; otherwise, they return an error code.

Remarks

This property is read/write.

In ISA Server Enterprise Edition, application filters can be registered in the enterprise configuration and in an array configuration. If an application filter is enabled in the enterprise configuration, the enterprise setting is applied to each array, and the filter cannot be disabled in an array configuration. If an application filter is disabled in the enterprise configuration, it can be enabled or disabled in an array configuration.

Note  After the value of the Enabled property has been modified, the change must be written to persistent storage by calling the Save method, and the Microsoft Firewall service must be restarted for the change to take effect. For more information about restarting the Firewall service to apply changes, see Restarting Services After Configuration Changes.
