The OID_WW_GEN_PERMANENT_ADDRESS OID requests the miniport driver to return its NIC's network address in its native format, whatever the header format the driver is currently using.

This request uses a WW_PERMANENT_ADDRESS structure, defined as equivalent to the NDIS_VAR_DATA_DESC structure, which was defined previously.The buffer contains a network-ordered sequence of binary byte values.

Sets and indications are irrelevant for this OID.
