IResourceManager

The resource manager uses the IResourceManager interface to enlist in distributed transactions. Following a failure, the resource manager uses this interface to determine the outcome of in-doubt transactions.

You do not need to implement this interface. It is implemented by the resource manager object of the DTC proxy.

Use this interface to enlist in distributed transactions and to determine the outcome of in-doubt transactions.

IResourceManager methods Description

Enlist

Enlists a resource manager in a transaction.

Reenlist

Re-enlists a resource manager in a transaction.

ReenlistmentComplete

Notifies coordinator to forget obligations to any transaction.

GetDistributedTransactionManager

Obtains an interface on the DTC.

A pointer to this call is returned by the IResourceManagerFactory::Create method.
