Italic Constructor (Inline, TextPointer)

Initializes a new instance of the Italic class with the specified Inline object as its initial content, and a TextPointer that specifies an insertion position for the new Inline element.

Namespace:  System.Windows.Documents
Assembly:  PresentationFramework (in PresentationFramework.dll)

public Italic(
	Inline childInline,
	TextPointer insertionPosition
)

Parameters

childInline
Type: System.Windows.Documents.Inline

The initial content. This parameter can be null, in which case no Inline is inserted.

insertionPosition
Type: System.Windows.Documents.TextPointer

The insertion position at which to insert the Italic element after it is created.

The following example demonstrates usage of this constructor.

// A child Inline element for the new Italic element.
Run runx = new Run("Text to make italic.");

// An empty paragraph will serve as the container for the new Italic element.
Paragraph parx = new Paragraph();

// After this line executes, the new element "italx"
// contains the specified Inline element, "runx". Also, "italx" is
// inserted at the point indicated by the insertionPosition parameter,
// which in this case indicates the content start position in the Paragraph
// element "parx".
Italic italx = new Italic(runx, parx.ContentStart);
