UniqueId.TryGetGuid Method (Guid)

Tries to get the value of the UniqueId as a Guid.

Parameters

guid: Type: System.Guid
The Guid if successful; otherwise Empty.

Return Value

Type: System.Boolean
true if the UniqueId represents a Guid; otherwise false.

Exceptions

Exception	Condition
ArgumentNullException	buffer is null.
ArgumentException	buffer and offset provide less than 16 valid bytes.
