Determines if Microsoft Word automatically sets the amount of spacing before the specified paragraphs.

Namespace:  Microsoft.Office.Interop.Word
Assembly:  Microsoft.Office.Interop.Word (in Microsoft.Office.Interop.Word.dll)

Syntax

'Declaration
Property SpaceBeforeAuto As Integer
    Get
    Set
'Usage
Dim instance As Paragraph
Dim value As Integer

value = instance.SpaceBeforeAuto

instance.SpaceBeforeAuto = value
int SpaceBeforeAuto { get; set; }

Property Value

Type: System.Int32

Remarks

This property returns True if Word automatically sets the amount of spacing before the specified paragraphs, and False if not. Set the property value to True or False to enable or disable the functionality.

This property returns wdUndefined if the SpaceBeforeAuto property is set to True for only some of the specified paragraphs.

When you open an HTML document without cascading style sheets, Word automatically sets the SpaceBeforeAuto property to True to render the paragraph spacing exactly as it would appear in a Web browser.

If SpaceBeforeAuto is set to True, the SpaceBefore property is ignored.
