This glossary defines key terms that are used in the Visual Studio Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) Help.

hit

A line of code executed by a test.

host

A physical computer that hosts one or more virtual machines.

host group

A custom group of virtual machine hosts, which an administrator can create in Virtual Machine Manager (VMM) for ease of monitoring and management. Host groups can be used to determine the resources reserved for host operating systems and to administer virtual machine self-service.
