How to: Show Configuration Manager in Visual Basic Projects (Devices)

If you have selected Visual Basic Development Settings, Configuration Manager does not appear by default. You use Configuration Manager when, for example, you want to switch from a Debug to a Release configuration. The following steps show how to display Configuration Manager.
To display Configuration Manager in a Visual Basic device project
On the Visual Studio Tools menu, click Options, expand Projects and Solutions, and then click General.
Click Show advanced build configurations.
