In this section, you create a Setup Project for Windows
Applications from the deployment projects that are available in
Visual Studio. You need to have a completed Windows application
that uses Crystal Reports. For an example, see the
Project Setup in
Setting Up the Development Environment.
- In Visual Studio, open your Windows application.
- On the
File menu, point to
Add and then click
New Project.
- In the
Project Types panel of the
AddNew Project dialog box, select
Other Project Types and click
Setup and Deployment Projects.
- In the
Templates panel, select
Setup Project.
-
Choose an appropriate name for the project and specify its
location, and then click
OK.
For the purposes of this tutorial, the setup project is referred to by the default name Setup1.
