General (Role Designer) (Analysis Services - Multidimensional Data)

Use the General page of Role Designer to set the name, description, and database permissions for a role in Microsoft SQL Server Analysis Services.

Role name: Type the name of the role.
Role description: Type a description of the role.
Full control (Administrator): Grants users in this role administrator privileges for the selected Analysis Services database.
Process database: Grants users in this role the right to process the selected Analysis Services database.
Read definition: Grants users in this role read permissions to the database metadata.
