Select Objects to Export (Package Configuration Wizard)

Updated: 12 December 2006

Use the Select Target Property or Select Properties to Export page to specify the object properties that the configuration contains. The ability to select multiple properties is available only if you select the XML configuration type.

The Package Configuration Wizard does not save the Password and UserName property values in the XML configuration file. If you use the dtexec command prompt utility to run a package, you must use a text editor, such as Notepad, to add the property values to the file. Otherwise, the package will not run. For more information about how to use the command prompt utility, see How to: Run a Package Using the DTExec Utility.

Expand the package hierarchy and select the properties to export.
