How to: Open Changesets from Work Items
If your team uses Team Foundation source control to store code, you can now tie a work item to the code change that addresses it.
Required Permissions
To perform these procedures, you must be a member of the Readers group or have the View work items in this node and Read permissions set to Allow. For more information, see Team Foundation Server Permissions.
To open a changeset linked to a work item
In Team Explorer, open the team project, open Work Items, and then search for the work item you need.
Double-click the work item to open it and then click the Links tab.
Select the changeset you want to open.
Click Open. Team Foundation source control displays the changeset details.
