How to: Cancel a Work Item Query
If you begin to run a query but discover that it is taking too long to complete, you can cancel the query.
Required Permissions
To perform this procedure, you must be a member of the Readers group or have the View work items in this node permission set to Allow. For more information, see Team Foundation Server Permissions.
To cancel a work item query
- While a query is running, on the Team menu, click Stop Query, or on the query toolbar, click Stop Query to cancel the query.
