Add/Modify Connection (Microsoft SQL Server Compact)

[This documentation is for preview only, and is subject to change in later releases. Blank topics are included as placeholders.]

The Add Connection dialog box for Microsoft SQL Server Compact enables you to specify settings, such as database and password for this connection. This dialog box appears when Microsoft SQL Server Compact is selected under Data Source in the Choose/Change Data Source dialog box.

After a connection is established, the database appears in Server Explorer. You can design programs to open connections and exchange data, or directly access and work with data by using Visual Database Tools.
