Granting Administrative Access
Administrative access to objects within an instance of Microsoft SQL Server Analysis Services is granted to Microsoft Windows users and groups in the following ways:
Users and groups can obtain administrative access to Analysis Services on a server-wide basis through the server role, as described in Grant Server-wide Administrative Access (Analysis Services).
Users and groups can obtain administrative access to a specific Analysis Services database through a database role, as described in Granting Administrative Permissions Within a Database.
