To exchange data with SQL Server, you must first install the software components required for use with Microsoft SQL Server Compact 3.5. For more information, see Installing a Server Environment.
After you install the necessary components, you must configure SQL Server with the appropriate permissions before any data can be exchanged between SQL Server and SQL Server Compact 3.5.
Steps to Configure SQL Server for RDA
