WebBrowserBase.OnHandleCreated Method
Raises the HandleCreated event.
Assembly: System.Windows.Forms (in System.Windows.Forms.dll)
| Exception | Condition |
|---|---|
| ThreadStateException | The Thread.ApartmentState property of the application is not set to STA. |
Raising an event invokes the event handler through a delegate. For more information, see Raising an Event.
The OnHandleCreated method also allows derived classes to handle the event without attaching a delegate. This is the preferred technique for handling the event in a derived class.
Notes to InheritorsDerived classes should override this method to find out when the handle has been created.
When overriding OnHandleCreated in a derived class, be sure to call the base class's OnHandleCreated method at the beginning of your implementation so that registered delegates receive the event.
