To start Report Builder in native mode, users can click the Report Builder button in Report Manager or use the specified URL. Report Builder runs in full trust mode using the permissions granted to the user.

ms159221.note(en-us,SQL.100).gifNote:
To start Report Builder with a model loaded or a specific report displayed, you can append additional parameters to the URL. To learn more about these parameters, see Starting Report Builder 1.0.

To start Report Builder in SharePoint integrated mode, users can use the New menu or the Actions menu, or point to the file and then click the down arrow.

For more information about deploying ClickOnce applications, applying ClickOnce application security, or running ClickOnce applications in the Internet zone, see the "ClickOnce Deployment for Windows Forms Applications", "Security in Windows Forms Overview", or "Trusted Application Deployment Overview" articles on the Microsoft Developer Network Web site at www.microsoft.com/msdn.

To verify that you have configured the report server and roles correctly in native mode, see How to: Configure Report Builder 1.0 and Report Builder 2.0 Access, Role Assignments, and Report Builder Role. To verify that you have configured the report server in SharePoint integrated mode and added the Report Builder Report content type to the SharePoint library, see Configuring Reporting Services for SharePoint 3.0 Integration and How to: Add Report Server Content Types to a Library (Reporting Services in SharePoint Integrated Mode).
