_Assembly.GetManifestResourceStream Method (Type, String)
Provides COM objects with version-independent access to the GetManifestResourceStream method.

Parameters
- type
- Type: System.Type
The type whose namespace is used to scope the manifest resource name.
- name
- Type: System.String
The case-sensitive name of the manifest resource being requested.
This method is for access to managed classes from unmanaged code, and should not be called from managed code.
The GetManifestResourceStream method loads the specified manifest resource, scoped by the namespace of the specified type, from this assembly.
