SqlMetaData.Adjust Method (Byte[])

Validates the specified array of Byte values against the metadata, and adjusts the value if necessary.

Assembly:  System.Data (in System.Data.dll)
public byte[] Adjust(
	byte[] value
)

Parameters

value
Type: System.Byte[]

The value to validate against the SqlMetaData instance.

Return Value

Type: System.Byte[]
The adjusted value as an array of Byte values.
ExceptionCondition
ArgumentException

Value does not match the SqlMetaData type, or value could not be adjusted.

.NET Framework Client Profile

Supported in: 4, 3.5 SP1

Windows 8, Windows Server 2012, Windows 7, Windows Vista SP2, Windows Server 2008 (Server Core Role not supported), Windows Server 2008 R2 (Server Core Role supported with SP1 or later; Itanium not supported)
