TaskItem Methods

The TaskItem type exposes the following members.

Public method CloneCustomMetadata Clones the collection of custom metadata for the item specification.
Public method CopyMetadataTo Copies the item-specification metadata to the specified destination task item.
Public method CreateObjRef Creates an object that contains all the relevant information required to generate a proxy used to communicate with a remote object. (Inherited from MarshalByRefObject.)
Public method Equals(Object) Determines whether the specified object is equal to the current object. (Inherited from Object.)
Public method GetHashCode Serves as the default hash function. (Inherited from Object.)
Public method GetLifetimeService Retrieves the current lifetime service object that controls the lifetime policy for this instance. (Inherited from MarshalByRefObject.)
Public method GetMetadata Retrieves the specified metadata on the item.
Public method GetType Gets the Type of the current instance. (Inherited from Object.)
Public method InitializeLifetimeService When overridden in a derived class, gives task items infinite lease time. (Overrides MarshalByRefObject.InitializeLifetimeService().)
Public method RemoveMetadata Removes the specified metadata on the item.
Public method SetMetadata Sets or modifies the value of the specified metadata on the item.
Public method ToString Gets the item specification. (Overrides Object.ToString().)

Explicit interface implemetation Private method ITaskItem2.CloneCustomMetadataEscaped ITaskItem2 implementation which returns a clone of the metadata on this object. Values returned are in their original escaped form.
Explicit interface implemetation Private method ITaskItem2.GetMetadataValueEscaped ITaskItem2 implementation which allows the values of metadata on the item to be queried.
Explicit interface implemetation Private method ITaskItem2.SetMetadataValueLiteral ITaskItem2 implementation which allows a piece of custom metadata to be set on the item. Assumes that the value passed in is unescaped, and escapes the value as necessary in order to maintain its value.
