AttributeMetadata.SchemaName Property

Gets or sets the schema name for the attribute.

The schema name for the attribute.

Remarks

This property is read-only except when you create an attribute. For the CreateAttributeRequest method, it is required and must be unique. This name has different length requirements depending on its use. For more information see Names Used in the Metadata Web Service.

The value of the SchemaName property should be in Pascal case. It is converted to all lowercase for the LogicalName property.

Thread Safety

Any public static (Shared in Visual Basic) members of this type are thread safe. Any instance members are not guaranteed to be thread safe.
