The properties that this setting controls varies depending on the type of attribute as shown in the following table:

Property	Description
DefaultFormValue	Applies to PicklistAttributeMetadata, StateAttributeMetadata, and StatusAttributeMetadata attributes. Specifies which form value will be the default value.
Format	Applies to DateTimeAttributeMetadata attributes only. Specifies whether a time is displayed with the date.
ImeMode	Applies to MemoAttributeMetadata, DecimalAttributeMetadata, StringAttributeMetadata, MoneyAttributeMetadata, DateTimeAttributeMetadata, and DoubleAttributeMetadata attributes Specifies whether the Input method editor mode can be changed.
MaxLength	Applies to StringAttributeMetadata and MemoAttributeMetadataattributes. Specifies the maximum allowed length of string data that the attribute can store.
Precision	Applies to DecimalAttributeMetadata, DoubleAttributeMetadata, and MoneyAttributeMetadataattributes Specifies the level of precision for data stored in these attributes.
