EffectParameterType Enumeration

Defines types that can be used for effect parameters or shader constants.

 Member nameDescription
Bool Parameter is a Boolean. Any nonzero value passed in will be mapped to 1 (TRUE) before being written into the constant table; otherwise, the value will be set to 0 in the constant table.
Int32 Parameter is an integer. Any floating-point values passed in will be rounded off (to zero decimal places) before being written into the constant table.
PixelShaderParameter is a pixel shader.
SamplerParameter is a sampler.
Sampler1DParameter is a 1D sampler.
Sampler2DParameter is a 2D sampler.
Sampler3DParameter is a 3D sampler.
SamplerCubeParameter is a cube sampler.
SingleParameter is a floating-point number.
StringParameter is a string.
TextureParameter is a texture.
Texture1DParameter is a 1D texture.
Texture2DParameter is a 2D texture.
Texture3DParameter is a 3D texture.
TextureCubeParameter is a cube texture.
VertexShaderParameter is a vertex shader.
VoidParameter is a void pointer.
