CloudQueue.Delete Method

Deletes the queue.

    CloudQueueClient queueClient = new CloudQueueClient(queueEndpoint,
        new StorageCredentialsAccountAndKey(accountName, accountKey));

    //Get a reference to a queue in this storage account.
    CloudQueue queue = queueClient.GetQueueReference("myqueue");

    //Delete the queue.
    queue.Delete();
}

Note that when you delete a queue, there may be an interval of time of at least 35 seconds during which you cannot create a queue with the same name.


Any public static (Shared in Visual Basic) members of this type are thread safe. Any instance members are not guaranteed to be thread safe.
