VCLinkerTool.MergeSections Property
Visual Studio 2008
Causes the linker to merge section from into section to; if section to does not exist, section from is renamed to.
Assembly: Microsoft.VisualStudio.VCProjectEngine (in Microsoft.VisualStudio.VCProjectEngine.dll)
MergeSections exposes the functionality of the /MERGE (Combine Sections) linker option.

The following example modifies the MergeSections property in the integrated development environment (IDE):
