This module supports the Visual Basic language keywords and runtime library members that provide information about the runtime currently in use.

The following example uses the ScriptEngineMajorVersion property and related properties to return a string describing the current runtime information:

Function getRuntimeInfo() As String
    Dim runtime As String = ScriptEngine & " Version "
    runtime &= CStr(ScriptEngineMajorVersion) & "."
    runtime &= CStr(ScriptEngineMinorVersion) & "."
    runtime &= CStr(ScriptEngineBuildVersion)
    ' Return the current runtime information.
    Return runtime
End Function

Any public static (Shared in Visual Basic) members of this type are thread safe. Any instance members are not guaranteed to be thread safe.
