SqlGeography.STDisjoint Method

Determines whether the calling SqlGeography instance is spatially disjoint from the specified SqlGeography instance.

Parameters

other
Type: Microsoft.SqlServer.Types.SqlGeography
A SqlGeography instance to compare against the instance on which STDisjoint is invoked.

Return Value

Type: System.Data.SqlTypes.SqlBoolean
A SqlBoolean value that indicates whether the SqlGeography instance is spatially disjointed from the specified SqlGeography. If the instances are spatially disjointed, this method returns true. Otherwise, false.

Two geography instances are disjoint if the intersection of their point sets is empty.

This method always returns null if the spatial reference IDs (SRIDs) of the SqlGeography instances do not match.
