Microsoft.SqlServer Namespace

The Microsoft.SqlServer namespace contains classes designed to support SQL Server components.

  Class Description
Public class INST_ID Represents the identifier of an instance.
Public class InstAPI Contains methods that are used to resolve friendly names with unique instance IDs.
Public class InstAPIException An exception that is thrown when the server failed to resolve friendly names with unique instance IDs.
