Remarks

SharePoint Foundation requires that the current user has the UseRemoteAPIs permission to use SOAP, WebDAV, and Microsoft Office SharePoint Designer 2007 interfaces. When you use the BypassUseRemoteApis method, the UseRemoteAPIs permission check for the current Http request is skipped.
