Media direction is a property of a media channel or a media device. An application enables users to speak or listen to each other by setting a SEND or RECEIVE direction on audio. It enables the users to show or watch each other's cameras by setting a SEND or RECEIVE direction on video. An application can mute an audio by not specifying the SEND direction on an audio channel. A user is not able to watch the video feed if the RECEIVE direction is not set on the video channel. Two-way transmissions are set by a bit-wise OR combination of the members of this enumeration type.
