IUccPresenceNoteData.Uri Property
This content is no longer actively maintained. It is provided as is, for anyone who may still be using these technologies, with no warranties or claims of accuracy with regard to the most recent product version or service release.
Gets and sets the URI of the user providing the note.
Namespace: Microsoft.Office.Interop.UccApi
Assembly: Microsoft.Office.Interop.UccApi (in microsoft.office.interop.uccapi.dll)
Syntax
'Declaration
Property Uri As String
string Uri { get; set; }
property String^ Uri {
String^ get ();
void set (String^ value);
}
/** @property */
String get_Uri ()
/** @property */
void set_Uri (String value)
function get Uri () : String
function set Uri (value : String)
Property Value
A value of the BSTR* (string, for a .NET application) type. The URI can be a SIP URI ("sip:someone@contoso.com") or SMTP URI ("someone@exchange.contoso.com").
Remarks
An IUccPresenceNoteInstance represents a collection of notes published by a single presentity. For this reason, every note in the notes collection should return the same Uri string. The publishing user may not set a Uri value for any or all of the published note items.
Win32 COM/C++ Syntax
HRESULT get_Uri
(
BSTR* pbstrUri
);
HRESULT put_Uri
(
BSTR pbstrUri
);
Note
In a Win32 application, the return value of a method or property is always an HRESULT value indicating the status of the call to the interface member. Any result of the operation is returned as a parameter marked with the [out, retval] attribute. In contrast, in a .NET application the HRESULT value indicating an error condition is returned as a COM exception and the [out, retval] parameter becomes the return value. For the UCC API-defined HRESULT values, see Trace and Handle Errors in Unified Communications Client API.
Example
The following example property is drawn from an application class that wraps an instance of IUccPresenceNoteInstance (this._Note
). The example gets the Uri string of the first note in the note collection and returns the value.
/// <summary>
/// returns the Uri string of the publisher of the first
/// note in the notes collection
/// </summary>
public string PublishingUri
{
get
{
IUccPresenceNoteData note = this._Note.Notes[1] as IUccPresenceNoteData;
return note.Uri;
}
}
Thread Safety
All public static (Shared in Visual Basic) members of this type are thread-safe. Instance members are not guaranteed to be thread-safe.
