_Explorer.Session Property

Returns the NameSpace object for the current session. Read-only.

Namespace:  Microsoft.Office.Interop.Outlook
Assembly:  Microsoft.Office.Interop.Outlook (in Microsoft.Office.Interop.Outlook.dll)
[DispIdAttribute()]
NameSpace Session { get; }

The Session property and the GetNamespace method can be used interchangeably to obtain the NameSpace object for the current session. Both members serve the same purpose. For example, the following pairs of statements perform the same function:

Dim objNamespace As Outlook.NameSpace = _
    Application.GetNamespace("MAPI")
Outlook.NameSpace objNamespace =
    Application.GetNamespace("MAPI");
Outlook.NameSpace objSession = Application.Session;
