IDebugConvert.ToPrimitive(Object, TypeCode, Boolean) Method

Definition

When implemented in a class, converts the specified value to the specified TypeCode, optionally allowing data loss.

This API supports the product infrastructure and is not intended to be used directly from your code.

Parameters

value
Object

The value to convert to a new type.

typeCode
TypeCode

The type to convert value to.

truncationPermitted
Boolean

true to allow data loss; otherwise, false.

Returns

value converted to the typeCode type.
