SessionStartInfo.Secure Property

Determines if a secure connection is used between the client and the HPC broker.

Namespace: Microsoft.Hpc.Scheduler.Session
Assembly: Microsoft.Hpc.Scheduler.Session (in Microsoft.Hpc.Scheduler.Session.dll)
'Usage
Dim instance As SessionStartInfo
Dim value As Boolean

value = instance.Secure

instance.Secure = value
public bool Secure { get; set; }
/** @property */
public boolean get_Secure ()

/** @property */
public void set_Secure (boolean value)

public function get Secure () : boolean

public function set Secure (value : boolean)

Property Value

True indicates that a secure front-end binding is used that includes both encryption and authentication. To turn off encryption to improve performance, change the settings for this binding in the service configuration file and in your client computer.

False indicates that a front-end binding with no security is used, so neither encryption nor authentication is used. Setting this value to False is not recommended for production use, because False provides no security.

The default is True.

Uses SSL if TransportScheme is Http, or uses Kerberos if TransportScheme is NetTcp.

Any public static (Shared in Visual Basic) members of this type are thread safe. Any instance members are not guaranteed to be thread safe.
