ISchedulerJob.NotifyOnStart Property

Gets or sets whether or not you want to receive email notification when then job starts.

Property Value

A Boolean the indicates whether or not you want to receive email notification when then job starts. True indicates that you want to receive email notification when then job starts. False indicates that you do not want to receive email notification when then job starts.

A cluster administrator must configure notification for the HPC cluster before you can receive notification about a job.

By default, you do not receive notification when a job starts.

Platform Note: This property was introduced in Windows HPC Server 2008 R2 and is not supported in previous versions.


Any public static (Shared in Visual Basic) members of this type are thread safe. Any instance members are not guaranteed to be thread safe.
