ToolTask.GetWorkingDirectory Method

Returns the directory in which to run the executable file.

Namespace:  Microsoft.Build.Utilities
Assembly:  Microsoft.Build.Utilities.v4.0 (in Microsoft.Build.Utilities.v4.0.dll)
protected virtual string GetWorkingDirectory()

Return Value

Type: System.String
The directory in which to run the executable file, or a null reference (Nothing in Visual Basic) if the executable file should be run in the current directory.

This is a method rather than a property so that derived classes (like Exec) can choose to expose a public WorkingDirectory property, and it would be confusing to have two properties.
