LiveConnectClient.BackgroundUploadAsync(String, Uri, OverwriteOption) method

Begins uploading a file from Windows Phone isolated storage to Microsoft OneDrive. The file upload should continue even if the app that starts the file upload quits or is suspended.

Note  Windows 8 doesn't support this method.

Syntax


public BackgroundUploadAsync(
  string path, 
  Uri uploadLocation, 
  OverwriteOption option
)

Parameters

path

Type: String

The folder ID of the folder in OneDrive to upload the file to, for example "folder.8c8ce076ca27823f.8C8CE076CA27823F!142".

uploadLocation

Type: Uri

The unique isolated storage path to where the file is to be uploaded from, for example "/shared/transfers/myFile2.txt".

option

Type: OverwriteOption

Specifies whether the file that's being uploaded to OneDrive should overwrite an existing file with the same file name in that location.
