LinkedList.Remove Method (T)

Removes the first occurrence of the specified value from the LinkedList.

Parameters

value

The value to remove from the LinkedList.

Return Value

true if the element containing value is successfully removed; otherwise, false. This method also returns false if value was not found in the original LinkedList.

This method performs a linear search; therefore, this method is an O(n) operation, where n is Count.

The following code example and output demonstrate the Remove(T) method overload to remove the node containing the value "old" from a linked list of strings.
