fAllowFullControl (Standard 8 Module Reference)

Review the applicable Feature modules and any examples for the fAllowFullControl setting in Windows Embedded 8 Standard (Standard 8).

This setting specifies whether a friend or a support professional can take full control of the device to offer assistance.

Set to true to allow full control; otherwise set to false. The default value is true.

The following table shows the modules that you can apply this setting to. In Image Configuration Editor (ICE), you can follow the corresponding path to set this setting for a module.

This example shows how to allow configure the device so that a friend or support professional can offer help by using an encrypted ticket. The ticket is configured to expire after one day.
