DisableFirstRunWizard (Standard 8 Module Reference)

7/8/2014

Review the applicable Feature modules and any examples for the DisableFirstRunWizard setting in Windows Embedded 8 Standard (Standard 8).

This setting specifies whether to skip the First Run Wizard when the user runs Windows Internet Explorer for the first time.

Set to true to skip the wizard and use the default values for the installation process; otherwise, set to false.

The Internet Explorer First Run Wizard helps users install the browser by prompting them to define the default search provider, the phishing filter settings, and so on.

The following table shows the modules that you can apply this setting to. In Image Configuration Editor (ICE), you can follow the corresponding path to set this setting for a module.
