Select a workspace

You can save multiple layouts of your workspace, and load one when you need to. This is useful if you want to have different workspaces available for different tasks.

For information about the workspace presets that come with Blend for Visual Studio 2012, see Saving different views of your workspace.

To select a workspace layout

  • On the Window menu, point to Workspaces, and then select the workspace that you want from the list that appears.

    Tip

To save you time, Blend automatically saves the changes that you make to your currently-selected workspace. For more information, see "Modifying a workspace preset" in Saving different views of your workspace.
