Sends a PUT request as an asynchronous operation to the specified URI with value serialized using the given formatter.

A task object representing the asynchronous operation.

Usage Note

In Visual Basic and C#, you can call this method as an instance method on any object of type HttpClient. When you use instance method syntax to call this method, omit the first parameter.
