2.2.5.1.3 application/json

For OData 1.0 and OData 2.0 services, application/json is used to request the data service format for the response payload according to the formatting rules outlined in Verbose JSON Format (section 2.2.6.3 ).

For OData 3.0 services, the application/json content type is reserved for future use.
